Webcam.com sold for $ 1, 020,000.00 Dollars by Rick Latona. Don’t know if he owned it or he got a comission for selling it via his website www.ricklatona.com

pizza de 2.6 millones de dólares

Asi salió la noticia en la revista del consumidor de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO):

“De acuerdo con la Wikipedia, un dominio de internet es un nombre base que agrupa a un conjunto de equipos o dispositivos y que permite proporcionar nombres de equipo más fácilmente recordables. Pues resulta que en este terreno el estadounidense Chris Clark consiguió un negocio redondo y repleto de queso. En 1994, cuando internet estaba en pañales, Clark pagó 20 dólares por el dominio pizza.com, sin imaginarse que en marzo del 2008 lograría vender el citado dominio en 2.6 millones de dólares en una subasta. Se dice que Clrak y familia celebraron esta venta comiendo pizza.”

america.com not sold. The highest bid was US$1.71 million

They thought, the sellers using sedo as intermediary for the transaction, that it could sell for $3.5 million to $7 million Dollars.

Reserve price no met. Which means that the reserve price must have been around $3.5 Million or less.

I think this happenend by the end of last year, not sure.  vodka.com was sold for the amazing price of $ 3 Million Dollars.  Bought by a Russian Empresario.
